Chip Kidd is currently the associate art director at Knopf, an imprint of Random House. He has designed book cover concepts for Bret Easton Ellis, Michael Crichton, David Sedaris, and John Updike. He also published his own novel, The Cheese Monkeys. He is an accomplished graphic artist who has been described as graphic design’s “rock star.” He is currently turning out jacket designs at an average of 75 a year. Pretty impressive.
